The most expensive jeans are a pair of Levi's blue denim trousers worn by Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, which were purchased for $412,750 (£332,166) by Tom Coyne (USA) at Julien's Auctions, in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, on 18 November 2023.
The jeans were worn by Cobain in Nirvana's music video for "Heart-Shaped Box", along with numerous live performances and photo shoots throughout his career.
