The most expensive headwear sold at auction is AED (United Arab Emirates) 24,050,000 ($ 6,545,950; £ 4,332,110) and was auctioned by Emirates Auction (UAE), at an event organised by Al Jalila Foundation, in Dubai, UAE, on 25 November 2015.
The headwear was a helmet originally used by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai.
