The longest chain of bracelets is 44,648.9 m (146,486 feet) consisting of Rakhis and was achieved by IGP (India) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India on 16 August 2023.
The event was organised by IGP to celebrate the occasion of Raksha Bandhan when a sister in India ties a Rakhi or thread bracelet on her brother's wrist as a symbol of his well-being and protection. These bracelets/rakhis were donated to the Indian Army.
