Longest animal penis

In absolute terms, the longest penis belongs to the blue whale at up to 2.4 m (8 ft).

Accurate measurements are difficult, as the erect length is only observed during mating. In terms of relative scale, it is the equivalent of a human with a 10 cm (4 in) penis. Longer penises relative to body length are known, such as the penis of the Argentine lake duck (Oxyura vittata) – see attempt ID 131389 – and the barnacle – att ID 131394.
