The largest ground vibration caused by stereo systems measured 6.985 mm/s at "Insane Sound World Record" organized by 101 Eventos (Brazil) at Parque do Peão in Barretos, São Paulo, Brazil, on 28 September 2014.
With eight gigantic walls of speakers strategically situated at the event, professional seismographers were on-site to measure the impact on the ground. The speakers played a synchronized one-minute song in which the singer promised to break the world record, accompanied by heavy bass.
