The fastest horizontal speed reached in a wingsuit is 396.88 km/h (246.6 mph) and was achieved by Fraser Corsan (UK) over Davis, California, USA on 22 May 2017.

The jump took place at 35,508 ft over Davis, California by Fraser Conran who is an Aerospace Safety Engineer

Fraser attempted the record to raise awareness for SSAFA - the Armed Forces charity. He also hoped to inspire a generation of students to embrace science technology and mathematics.

The record was attempted under Guinness World Records' guidelines and is not associated with FAI rulings for their recognised wingsuit speed records.
