The largest collection of moose-related items is 1,369 and belongs to Heike Johannson (Germany) which she has been collecting since 25 January 1996.
She began her collection after her and her family's first encounter with a moose on a family vacation to Sweden. Her collection began with a plush toy purchased by her husband which he placed in the glove compartment of their family's new Volvo; both were surprise gifts.
