Most technical fouls in an NBA career

As of 15 March 2007, Jerry Sloan (USA) has been whistled for 413 technical fouls in his National Basketball Association career as a player with the Baltimore Bullets (1965-66) and Chicago Bulls (1966-67 to 1975-76) and as a coach with the Bulls (1979-80 to 1981-82) and Utah Jazz (1988-89 to 2006-07). Sloan is the only person to record more than 400 technical fouls since the league began recording this as an official statistic beginning in 1970.
