Largest human skull

The largest skull documented in medical literature belonged to a man with a cranial capacity of 1,980 cm³ (120 in³). Although the shape of his skull was normal, the cranial capacity of a human skull averages at between 950 – 1,800 cm³ (57.9 – 109 in³) depending on age and body size.

Elongated skulls have been found in Peru believed to have been caused by head binding, giving a cranial capacity of up to 2,500 cm³ (152 in³).
