A total of 34 Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) trucks took part in a parade at Bangerang Park, Corowa, New South Wales, Australia, on 16 March 2002, the largest known gathering of these vehicles since the Second World War. The event was part of the annual National GPA Swim-in, a yearly gathering of jeep-based amphibious vehicles at Corowa.
Produced in various configurations by both Ford and Chev in Canada, CMP vehicles saw widespread service in all the Commonwealth armies on fronts around the world. Several hundred thousand were produced and many remain in service today.
