The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series (Telltale Games, 2012) is set in the same world as the comic book series and the TV show adapting it, and the game takes inspiration from both. The cel-shaded comic-style travails of Lee and Clementine, the young orphan he rescues, were originally released as five playable ‘episodes’ between 24 April and 20 November 2012. On review aggregation site Metacritic, it had a score of 89 on PC, 94 on PS3 and 92 on Xbox, as of 19 May 2025.
