The most consecutive wins of the same Formula One Grand Prix is five, achieved by Ayrton Senna (Brazil) at the Monaco Grand Prix in 1989–1993; and equalled by Lewis Hamilton (UK) at the Spanish Grand Prix in 2017–2021.

Hamilton claimed his fifth victory in a row at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 9 May 2021 to match the record of Senna, who earned the nickname “The King of Monaco” for his exploits on the legendary street circuit. Senna also won in Monaco in 1987, while Hamilton claimed victory in Spain in 2014 – giving them each six career wins at that track.
