Eloi has been a dedicated fixed gear cyclist for over a decade, using his bike daily for his commute. Long before he pursued the record, he began pedalling with no hands and later progressed to cycling with just one leg.
The attempt took place at the Vélodrome (track) Jacques Anquetil.
