The shortest man ever is Chandra Bahadur Dangi (Nepal) who measures 54.6 cm (21.5 in) tall as verified at CIWEC Clinic Travel Medicine Center in Lainchaur, Kathmandu, Nepal on 26 February 2012.
At the time of the verification, Chandra weighed 14.5 kg (31 lb 15.52 oz) and claimed to be 72 years old. His height was taken over six measurements taken in the 24-hour period. Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, Craig Glenday, adjudicated.
