The greatest distance travelled on a golf cart in 24 hours is 242.22 km (150.50 mi) and was achieved by Ian Cummings and Craig Haughey (both UK) in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK, on 29 - 30 April 2023.
Ian and Craig made this attempt to raise awareness for the MND association, as well as to fundraise for charity.
Ian was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2022 and decided to take his condition head-on by attempting a record. He was not able to drive the buggy but was passenger for the full duration of this record-breaking event.
