The most people lighting flame torches in a relay is 300 and was achieved by ROM: The PHYSIO Run 2023, SRM College of Physiotherapy, SRMIST in Kattankulathur (all India) in Tamil Nadu, India on 8 September 2023.

The attempt was held as a culmination of a 10 day long marathon between cities. The run began in the north of India and ended at SRM College of Physiotherapy in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. The students who took part in the marathon also participated in the relay.
