Most people solving jigsaw puzzles online simultaneously

The most people solving jigsaw puzzles online simultaneously is 1,141 participants, achieved by OSTech Group 2021 new graduates (Japan) in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, on 3 October 2020.

The attempt was a part of the OSTech Group's online welcome ceremony, congratulating the new 2021 graduates who've been selected for hire in the upcoming year. Like most events all around the world, this is something that would have taken place in person. So, even if online, in order to create a sense of togetherness, about 1,700 graduates solved a jigsaw puzzle with the final design being their official notification of employment. The puzzle design was kept a surprise until they completed the puzzle for the first time during the attempt.
