Longest distance game of tug of war

The longest distance game of tug of war is 558.15 m (1,831.20 ft) and was achieved by Owen Calvert, Freddie Smith and Otis Sampson (all UK) in Tonbridge, Kent, UK, on 30 June 2024.

Primary school students Owen, Freddie and Otis wanted to help raise money for charity in support of other children less fortunate than themselves. With the help and support of the wider community they organised this attempt and were able to raise donations and achieve a new world record in the process!
