YTV's My Hero Academia (Japan; 2016–25) was the most popular animated TV show in the world in 2025, according to data-science firm Parrot Analytics, with a global demand rating 57.5 times greater than that of the average TV show. The valuation relates to the period from 10 January 2025 to 9 January 2026.

My Hero Academia features a world in which most people wield superpowers called Quirks. Powerless teen Izuku Midoriya is chosen by top hero All Might to inherit his ability. Enrolling at UA High School, Izuku trains alongside aspiring heroes while confronting dangerous villains, learning what it truly means to protect others.
