Most streamed track on Spotify (female)

According to chartmasters.org as of 24 February 2024, "Dance Monkey" (2019) by Tones and I (Australia, b. Toni Watson) had amassed 2,998,094,263 Spotify streams, making it the most streamed track by a female artist on the platform.

“Dance Monkey” was the second single to be released from her debut EP, “The Kids Are Coming”, and it stormed to the top of sales and streaming charts around the world.

It is Spotify’s eighth most streamed track overall – a list led by The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” with 4.08 billion streams, as of 24 February 2024.

By the same date, “lovely” (2018) by Billie Eilish (feat. Khalid) had accumulated 2.66 billion streams, and Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” (2019) had reached the 2.50 billion mark.
