Jose Ramirez (Dominican Republic) made MLB history by becoming the 13th player to record five extra-base hits in an MLB game. Ramirez hit two home runs and three doubles while playing for the Cleveland Indians in an 11–1 win over the Detroit Tigers (both USA) on 3 September 2017. The last player to accomplish the feat was Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs on 27 June 2016.
