According to Speedrun.com, German gamer "Fiftylaren" raced through the three-lap campaign mode of the PC version of F1 2016 (Codemasters, 2016) in a time of 1 hour 49 minutes 28 seconds on 27 November 2016. "Fiftylaren" performed his run as the British racing driver Lewis Hamilton.
The real Lewis Hamilton had a less successful 2016 season, finishing second in the Driver's championship behind team-mate Nico Rosberg.
