The longest bridge made of newspaper in three minutes by a team is 114.9 cm (3 ft 9 in), achieved by RNC Announcers Team (Japan) at Sunport Takamatsu in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan, on 13 October 2018.
The local TV broadcasting company organised the event to celebrate their 65th anniversary, with the theme set as Kakehashiru (build a bridge), hence the choice of the record. 3 teams attempted the record simultaneously. The other teams consisted of engineering students from local colleges.
