It has a length of 33.73 m, a main rotor diameter of 32 m and a maximum take-off weight of 56 metric tonnes. It can be equipped with the VSU-15 water drop system, essentially a sack made from tough parachute material that can be lowered into any reservoir and filled with 15 tonnes of water in around 30 seconds.
