Described as the "world's biggest mobile eSports" by ESPN in June 2016, the mobile MOBA Vainglory has been revolutionary in bringing touch-screen gaming to the burgeoning eSports scene. Since its early release for iOS in late 2014 (its full global release was 1 July 2015), the videogame has spawned a growing number of pro tournaments including its own official seasons organized by its publisher Super Evil Megacorp. As of 29 September 2016, the youngest winner of a major Vainglory tournament is USA's Riley Haghian aka "Zio" or "DNZio" (b. 29 March 2003), who was just 13 years 68 days old when he captained Hammers Esports Velocity to glory at the North American Spring Season 2016 Championship on 5 June 2016. Vainglory has four seasons each year, with the Spring Season one of its main competitive events.
