The arrival of a downloadable content (DLC) pack for Mario Kart 8 on 23 April 2015 caused excitement among fans as it brought all-new tracks – and therefore the opportunity to set new records. Among those tracks was one that took its theme from Nintendo’s cute life-simulation franchise Animal Crossing.
