Most expensive Disney animated film

When Disney’s Tangled finally debuted in November 2010, it had been six years in the making, and had accumulated a total estimated production budget of $260 million (£168 m) – the most expensive Disney animated feature of all time.

As of February 2016, Tangled remains not only the most expensive animated movie of all time, but also the third most expensive ever made, behind Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007) and John Carter (2012).
