The fastest motorised log travels at a speed of 76.669 kph (47.64 mph) achieved by Brian Reid Sr. (Canada) on the set of HGTV Canada’s Timber Kings at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona, USA, on 20 January 2016.
The vehicle was created from a single log of western red cedar from British Columbia, Canada, dated using tree rings to the year 1776. The motorised log will be auctioned later in 2016 with all proceeds going to veterans charities.
