Players on the Aerna server are crafting the mother of all original fictional Minecraft worlds. Work on Aerna is ongoing – but, as of 4 February 2015, the 84-GB project measured 102,400 x 51,200 blocks. Spanning multiple continents, it covered 5,242.88 km² (slightly over 2,000 sq mi), with impressively detailed landmarks and sprawling towns.
