The most UCI Para-Track cycling World Championships men's elite gold medals won by a country is 24 and was achieved by Great Britain from 2007 to 2014.
The first British individual gold medal winner at the UCI men's Para-Track Cycling World Championships was Darren Kenny in 2009. However, in 2007 the British team had taken home gold in the Team Sprint an event they've won three times to date. Most recently they won three gold medals in Aguascalientes, Mexico, with Neil Fachie winning both the Tandem B Sprint and Tandem B – 1,000 m Time Trial, while Jody Cundy set a world record time in the C4 – 1,000-m Time Trial.
The nearest rival to Great Britain is Australia, with eight gold medals.
