Oldest sports shop

The oldest sports shop is "Whites Sports Shop", of Warrington, Cheshire, UK. It first opened its doors at 22 Sankey Street in March 1901 under John Ernest White and has been trading continuously in sportswear and equipment right up to the present day under four generations of the White family. The achievement was verified at its current address of 40 years, 147/148 Bank Street, on 8 May 2014.
