Most prize money for a snooker tournament

The 2019 World Snooker Championship was allocated a total prize fund of £2,231,000 ($2,907,030), with the winner receiving £500,000 ($651,507). The tournament was staged at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK, between 20 April and 6 May 2019.

The 2019 World Snooker Championship was won by Judd Trump, who defeated John Higgins 18–9 in the final to claim his first world championship title.
