The largest sports trivia competition involved 1,726,274 players and was Santander Futbol Pasion 2014, which took place around Latin America from 13 May to 8 October 2014.

This is the second time that the competition Santander Futbol Pasion achieves this record. This is a football/soccer only quiz that takes place around Latin America with initial online stages and in-person finals, that are broadcast by Fox Deportes.
