On 22 June 2013, rock band Black Sabbath (UK) returned to the summit of the UK albums chart with their 19th studio set, 13, 42 years 255 days after first topping the chart with their second album, Paranoid, on 10 October 1970.

This record was previously held by Bob Dylan, with an elapsed gap of 38 years 162 days between New Morning (28 November 1970) and Together Through Life (9 May 2009) making it to No.1 in the UK albums chart.

Black Sabbath are Ozzy Osbourne (b. John Osbourne, vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (b. Terence Butler, bass guitar), who were reunited for the first time in 35 years to record 13. Brad Wilk (drums and percussion) also played on 13 in place of Black Sabbath's former drummer, Bill Ward.
