A total of 5,500 Kibi dango were prepared and 140 people participated in total to line up the dango. A Kibi dango is sort of a soft mochi, which is made with rice flour and has a flat round shape. The name "Kibi" refers to Kibi-no-kuni, an old province name for the area where the current Okayama Prefecture lies.
