The largest lantern parade consists of 14,173 people and was achieved by The City Government of San Jose Del Monte (Philippines) at San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines on 19 September 2017.
The parade used lanterns made from recycled soda and beer cans, all made by the participants by hand. Being their second attempt, all the participants and organisers were even more excited and completed the parade even while it was raining.
