The fastest relay journey from Land's End to John-O'-Groats by bicycle (team) is 38 hr 54 min 22 sec, achieved by Adam Hinds (Australia), Craig Johnathan Jackson (South Africa) and Thomas Anthony Read, Dan Jestico, Steven Price, Mark Turnbull, Matt Hart, Christopher James Emery, Paul Andrew Tippett, James Joseph Barrett, Joe Robinson, Marcus Willday (all UK), from 26 to 27 June 2021.
The team decided to attempt this record to keep the mind and body focused with training during the Covid-19 lockdowns across the UK in 2020/21. They trained where possible during the lockdowns and then attempted the challenge as soon as restrictions permitted them to travel. The attempt raised over £11,000 for Jigsaw Childrens Bereavement Charity in the UK.
