The most barefoot marathons run in one year is 101 and was achieved by Eddie Vilbar Vega (Guam) with marathons completed across the world from 1 January to 31 December 2014.

Eddie Vilbar Vega completed a barefoot marathon in all 50 US states and also ran marathons in Japan and the Philippines.
